IT & Systems Administrator
About the Role
Stawi is a tech-enabled enterprise. Our impact relies on the seamless operation of the Stawi Portal, which connects farmers, sponsors, and our supply chain. As our IT & Systems Administrator, you will ensure our digital infrastructure is robust, secure, and always online. You are the guardian of our data and the enabler of our digital operations.
What You’ll Do
- Infrastructure Management: Manage and monitor our cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/DigitalOcean) and on-premise networks.
- System Security: Implement cybersecurity best practices to protect sensitive farmer and investor data.
- Portal Support: Provide Level 2/3 support for the Stawi Portal and internal ERP systems.
- Device Management: Manage IT assets (laptops, field tablets) and ensure field officers remain connected.
- Integration: Assist in the configuration and maintenance of third-party integrations (payments, SMS gateways).
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in system administration or DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of network security, VPNs, and identity management (OIDC).
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Linux server administration.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in the fintech or agritech sector.
