Frequently asked questions

What do I need to provide?
Your logo if you have one, the text and images you want on the site, and your business details. If you do not have content yet we can help you structure it, and we can advise on photography.
Who owns the website?
You own your domain name, your content and the finished website once the agreed fees are paid. Stawi retains ownership of reusable tooling and templates it created independently.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes, if the package includes a content management system. Alternatively, the care plan includes monthly content updates handled by us.
How long does it take?
It depends on scope and on how quickly content arrives. We confirm a timeline in writing before work starts and keep you updated at each stage.
Do you provide the domain name?
We can register or configure a domain on your behalf. The domain is registered in your name so that it remains yours.
Can the website take payments?
Commerce websites can include cart and checkout functionality. Live payment collection is connected once your own payment-provider account, or an approved arrangement through Stawi, is in place.
What happens if I stop the care plan?
Give notice as set out in your agreement. Hosting continues to the end of the paid period and we will help you move the site to another host if you wish.
